Hello, I'm Sophie
I am a project manager, a parent, and an expat living in Zurich, Switzerland.
A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract has gradually become a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Switzerland wasn’t part of the long-range plan. As with many expat relocations, it started as a job chance and soon grew into something far greater.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar processes, new routines, fresh expectations. Daily chores seemed more complex than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of hands-on learning. But gradually, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built Cloud Crest Market
Most information online fell into either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
